Maxey Marie Scherr
Maxey Marie Scherr was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Ms. Scherr handles a wide variety of cases including personal injury lawsuits ranging from wrongful death suits, traumatic brain injury cases, 18-wheeler collisions, workplace injuries and products liability cases. Ms. Scherr works on numerous non-profit and political endeavors. She attended Texas Tech School of Law, graduating in 2008, where she received Jurisprudence Awards for her law school performance, was the Philanthropy Chair with the Women’s Caucus, became a licensed Mediator and was awarded an academic scholarship for her work in the area of civil and human rights in Kingston, Jamaica. She attended college at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, graduating in 2005, magna cum laude, obtaining a psychology degree. Ms. Scherr is licensed to practice law in Texas, New Mexico and Illinois. She is a member of numerous bar associations, including the Texas State Bar Association, the El Paso Bar Association and the El Paso Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Scherr has tried numerous jury trials obtaining successful and landmark verdicts. Ms. Scherr enjoys working hard to protect the rights of everyday people. Maxey has been named to Texas Rising Stars: 2016.
